Hello everyone!
I am an originally from Wamrong, Trashigang, Bhutan.
I completed my high school from Jigme Sherubling
Higher Secondary School, Trashigang, Bhutan in 2006, and graduated from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India in 2012.
After graduation I worked with UD and Partners, a corporate law firm in Bhutan about eight months. In 2013, I did a year long PG course in Bhutanese national law (PGDNL) at Royal Institute of Management(RIM), Thimphu.
I joined the judiciary in January 2014 and have since worked in various capacities in the District Court, High Court, and Supreme Court. Besides my judicial roles, I have also served as Chief Administrator at the Bhutan ADR Centre.
Since April 2024, I have resigned from the judiciary to start my own private law firm. Prior to my resignation, I served as Drangpon Rabjam (Assistant Judge) and Registrar General of the High Court.
